Affirmatron powers through the podcast, backs against the wall, as visiting Moakler's and triple show bookings force our heroes into some fancy footwork.
Did that sentence make any sense at all?
Listen and find out!

Awesome guest this week in Mike Ochs. Just a truly phenomenal human being.
Just.....just listen already.

We toyed with the idea of calling this "Affirmacast 56: The Hungarian Revolution" but we realized that some people probably died during that and I really like my old Hungarian directing teacher from film school, Janos Kovaci.
Plus, he used to be in Delta Force. I am not kidding.
No guest this week (although Hawkins got in there some) but we have an old friend coming by next week. Should be great times.

This week Affirmatron passes into the 2nd half of the 1st half of the century mark. Take a sec. We'll wait for you.
Kind of a weird night. Not bad. Just a weird vibe that everyone was on.at the same time. It was kind of cool.
Let me explain something about the title: So, 55 is sometimes referred to as a Double Nickel. Double Nickels on the Dime is the name of the greatest record by the band The Minutemen. It may be, arguably, one of the best records, if not the best, from that era. D. Boon, lead singer/guitar player/visionary was taken from us too soon when, in 1985, he was thrown from the van he was riding and died instantly. He was 27.
If you get nothing else from these podcasts, I hope you take a moment and discover a little about D. Boon.

This is PART 2.
We pick up where we left off, where all things leave off: right where you left it. Confused? Me too.
Hey, did you know Marty hates the music of peace? It's true. To find out what I'm talking about, listen!

This is PART 1 of 2. Brian is in Philadelphia this weekend for the Philadelphia Improv Festival.
Thankfully, there is no mention of disco in this podcast. At all. Turn around. Go away. You've come to the wrong place.
This week Affirmatron returns to it's roots and discusses about the little things you can do to prepare yourself for living in La-La Land when you take the big leap and follow your dream of being a working actor.
This week's guest: YOU!!!!!!

Affirmatron and Radio Free Hollywood returns to iOWest this week. Tyrone couldn't be happier.
This week the boys discuss Marty being fired, Brian teaching his first workshop at iOWest in October and the general malaise that comes with being a (non) working actor in LA.
Fun Fact: When the sculptor Rodin created his fine piece of work titled "The Thinker", it wasn't at all the name he gave to it!
Originally, Rodin modelled the sculpture on Dante, author of 'The Divine Comedy' as he contemplated the associated Gates of Hell from the piece.
